Preseason Expectations Set High

The Michigan Wolverines football team is entering the 2023 season with high expectations. The Wolverines are ranked No. 8 in the preseason AP Top 25 Poll and are considered a contender to win the Big Ten Championship.

Key Players to Watch

Several key players will be crucial to the Wolverines' success in 2023. Quarterback Cade McNamara returns for his third season as the starter and will look to build on his impressive 2022 campaign. Running back Blake Corum is also back after rushing for over 1,000 yards last season. Coaching Staff

Josh Gattis, the offensive coordinator, and Mike Macdonald, the defensive coordinator, both return for their third seasons on Harbaugh's staff.

Coaching Changes:

* Sherrone Moore, the former offensive line coach, left to become the head coach at Central Michigan. * Kirk Campbell was promoted from tight ends coach to offensive line coach. * Jay Harbaugh, the former special teams coordinator, left to become the head coach at Stanford. * Bob Shoop was hired from Penn State to be the new special teams coordinator.
